I had come home from school a little after three o' clock. Shortly after four o'clock, I decided to walk my dog. At the end of my development, there's a drainage basin, and it's literally surrounded by endless woods. I always take my dog back there, and just like any other day, we went for a stroll. Half way into the basin, my dog began to fuss and pull me in the opposite direction. A moment after, I heard a shrub rattling, and living in Jackson, I had assumed it was nothing more than a deer.
I turned around to the source of the sound, and to my sudden horror, I locked eyes with a most deformed figure hunched beneath a bush. My terrier failed to bark or make any effort to move, but she trembled in terror behind me. The strange creature heaved a high pitched grunt, and spreading its wings, it jumped into the air and perched itself on a high branch. Its tail violently whipped the bush it hid behind.
Clinging my dog's leash, I immediately bolted out of the basin in fear. My heart pounded in my rib cage, and I'm still shaking as I type this!
Easily, it towered over my five foot eight stature, and its wing span must have been a startling three feet. It was brown in color, and it seemed to be a mixture of various animals.
