I was at the edge of the woods and a cornfield with friends around a campfire. We saw some old tracks like hooves, which we thought were deer. Around 9:30 we heard a distant scream. We decided to take a closer look when my friend Eric behind me screamed. We turned and saw a horse or goat with a wing and red glowing eyes. It screamed like nothing I've heard before. We ran and heard hooves following us. By the time we got back to camp the hooves had stopped. We hopped in the car and drove for about 2 miles. We got out and checked and saw nothing. Later we went back to the site and saw the tracks were still there. We got a mold of them and took them to a professional tracker, who said they definitely weren't made by a deer and couldn't be identified. I still have the molds if you like to see them.
The creature was about 8 or 9 feet tall with red glowing eyes and bat-like wings. It was mainly dark in color with grey patches and had a short tail. Eric said it had curled horns. Its footsteps sounded metallic.
