| We were driving along to get off Staten Island when I, Kevin, noticed something in the road. It was too late for me to swerve so I hit what I thought to be a dog. We got out and saw a crane-shaped, horse-headed, hooved creature. My friend Kris said, "That; reminds me of what my dad told me about that Jersey Devil--oh s**t we killed it!" It suddenly jumped up and screamed and flew off, leaving us stunned and from the loud scream.
