My date and I were walking through the woods, we had been hiking all morning and afternoon. When we heard some branches snap from in front of us. We stopped and listened. Suddenly this thing came running towards us. As it came closer, which seemed like forever, it started flying and flew over our heads. It scared me so bad that I got sick. My date and I never told anyone, we didn't think anyone would believe us if we did. It was the scariest thing that I had ever seen. Very odd looking. Its head didn't seem to match its body. The head looked to be fur, But I know that when it flew I saw feathers on the wings... I could not tell where the fur started and the feathers began. They were not long feathers... They looked to be short and dark in color.
