| I was with my boyfriend one night driving through Mt Misery Road in Browns Mills. We parked the car for awhile and just as the headlights went off I saw a quick glance of something absolutely HUGE run across the front of the car. My boyfriend saw it from there turn and run down the driver side of the car, bending down to look inside and then disappearing. Now it was fall, the ground full of leaves and yet it never made a sound. The Jersey Devil's eyes are green. We saw it again a few weeks later in the same area. It ran in front of the car a few feet away, barely in range of the headlights. I only saw the bottom half of its body and it looked like a deer running on its hindlegs. I think it's at least 6 feet tall. I haven't had any encounters since and don't want to! |
