| I saw the Jersey Devil once down by Bamber Lake in 1989. I was with my girlfriend, Sharon. She went off and I was just sitting there on a stump. All of a sudden, I heard this awful shriek. I looked up, and there it was...about 7 feet tall, a dark furry head, sort of like a mule-shaped head, brown eyes, short contorted wings, short horns and it walked on these scraggly legs. I took off...ran like hell! I ran to Sharon. We ran to the car and never went back! |
